Welcome to Nourish
Below is the overview and links of your training. You will follow this, day by day, whether you are beginning full time or part time. We ask that you please do not skip ahead—slowly digest and put into practice what you learn.
Day 6: Philosophy and Approach
Today we dive into the heart of who we are. You’ll explore Nourish’s educational philosophy and how The Heartful Approach supports connection, reflection, and emotional presence in the classroom. This session will ground your work in our shared values and help you begin to see your daily interactions as acts of care and meaning.
Day 7: Parent Interaction
At Nourish, our partnership with parents is a cornerstone of what we do. Today, we’ll reflect on why families choose us, how to honor their trust, and how to build authentic, ongoing relationships with them through daily moments of care, curiosity, and consistency.
Day 8: Classroom Management
Rituals, routines, and transitions are the threads that weave the day together. You’ll learn the importance of consistency—hellos and goodbyes—and how these seemingly small practices create a sense of safety and belonging that supports classroom management and emotional regulation.
Day 9: Roles and Responsibilities
Clarity builds confidence. Today, we’ll look closely at your role—what you’re responsible for, how to set daily intentions, and how to support both children and families with presence and purpose. We’ll define expectations around communication, classroom duties, and team collaboration.
Day 10: Nourish News Overview + Weekly Reflection
To wrap up the week, we’ll introduce Nourish News—our internal weekly communication —and reflect on everything you’ve taken in so far. You’ll have space to share questions, insights, and feedback as we support you in integrating all you’ve learned. This is a moment to pause, breathe, and take pride in your first two weeks.
