Our outdoor classroom

We have been hard at work alongside Thomas Porter Architects finalizing our outdoor classroom concepts, design and materials. This has been years in the making — fantasies of bringing a tactile, sensory and nature based outdoor classroom to life was one one of Miss Barb’s greatest visions. Alongside our desires to ensure connective teaching and a child-led exploration of the world around us, we know how deeply this area of Nourish will impact the daily love for learning for each child.

It’s also an expensive endeavor so each fundraiser over the last several years has supported the progression of this project. We aren’t there yet — in order to bring this whole-child centric space to life, we continue to raise money. We hope you’ll consider donating to Nourish for this project.
